Hi SmartQuant Team,

have you agreed on any ready demo accounts for any of the included providers? (For IB I already have an account, but ideally I'd need a few more providers to test my strategy behaviour with different providers)

Thx,
Eelofi

Hi,

I guess you should ask your broker. We have logins to several test servers but this is for development/testings only and we can not give them out.

I know TT has TTSIM facility that everyone cane use but this is not a demo account, i.e. it doesn't provide any real data.

Regards,
Anton

OK thanks,

to follow on a bit about providers.

Firstly in view-manage providers...-provider list there also NordNet available. But even though by default it's active it doesn't appear in the providers list (view - provider manager). Seems like a small bug in my eyes? Anyhow, NordNet could be interesting, at least for test purposes as well as I have a ready account there.

Secondly do you have plans of creating ready connectivity to other providers? If so, which might those be? So that I know where to put my investigation time.

Thx,
Eelofi

Hi,

just called NordNet customer service. Forget them when it comes to forex trading, its not really realtime. That's assuming QR and myself are talking about the same Nordnet :P . I was talking about this one: http://org.nordnet.se/en. Just happened to have an account there from old times and could've used it for testing.

BR,
Eelofi
