When downloading lots of historical data from IB. We can get : : Historical data request pacing violation

You could capture that message and slow down the request pace in your importer, so that the download can continue
without interruption

Yes I knew that.

However, since IB is returning an alert condition, cant you just paced it internally?

This would be usefull when we want to download data for a larger stock set. we wan to trade on about 150 Stocks. So this required a lot of download.
