SmartQuant Discussion

(1) Windows start menu -> SmartQuant Ltd -> VisualQuant -> Documentation -> Framework APi gets an error. The Framework.chm file is empty.

(2) I get an error "Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 is not installed" when I right click on a strategy and select "Edit in Visual Studio.Net". It is installed - I specially downloaded and installed a trial of the old MSVS.Net 2008 Professional when I first got this error, but I still get the error.

(3) There is no Samples menu item in
Windows start menu -> SmartQuant Ltd -> VisualQuant -> Samples
as described in the posts at viewtopic.php?f=75&t=8457&start=15

Is that sample somewhere else now or has it just been removed for now?

(4) I got Stocks and Forex to work with IB but Futures do not work. I tried changing type from Futures to Custom and TypeEx to FUT, which does get me closer, but now I get:

I tried editing the instrument's xml file by hand to add AltSource and AltSymbol but this seems to have no effect.

It seems to ignore the Maturity property and does not send it.

Should I be able to get Futures working in one way or another? Any bypass at all would be great.

It says 1.0.50 32 bit on Help/About, running on Windows 7.
