Hi,

The only way that I have found to debug a strategy is to write the variables values in the Output Console. This is quite burdensome.

1. Could you please indicate how to debug SmartQuant code in CSharpDevelop 2.2 or Visual Studio 2008?
- Which type of application do I have to create (console/window standalone app, class library)?
- Which openquant dll do I have to link to the application?
- What are the specific compile & runtime options of the solution / project?
- What are the other steps ?
DO YOU PLAN TO ADD DEBUGGING FUNCTIONALTY WITHIN THE PLATFORM?

2. Can I test the code within CSharpDevelop/Visual Studio platform by uploading a flat file of historical prices and populating a BarSeries? Where do I have to place such script (ie in the Main function?)?

3. Is it possible to add other ".cs" files in an openquant project to better organize it (ie placing utility classes in a separate file from the strategy file)?

I am sure that you have already answered these questions but I couldn"t find the appropriate answers.
These are key issues for me before making the decision to purchase the license.
