Hi everybody,
we would like to migrate to 3.0. Therefore we installed the trial on a test machine. however we fail to migrate the data.
instruments are not visible (I guess this has to deal with the fact, that mdb are no longer used).
How can I migrate data from 2.9 to 3.0?
A manual job would mean a looooooooot of work. 50+ market, 50+ years in history, all markets specified with proprietary
sector and symbols etc.....

Hi Bill,

Since version 3.x we do not use MS Access as data storage for instruments,portfolios and orders. Now, we use SQL Server CE. OQ 3.x ignores old (mdb) data files. But, you are able to transfer data from *.mdb files to *.sdf using any free data migration tool - just google this. Historical market data db has the same format and can be used with OQ 3.x - just copy appropriate files.
