Hi, I am not sure this is the right place to post this question, so please tell me if not. I am new to quant trading, and have almost no programming skills (I have some experience writing bash scripts). After observing market behavior for quite some time, and experimenting successfully with manual day trading, I think I have a solid investment strategy to start with, which I would like to automate. My focus is on Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, and my strategy involves calculating data from several sources: NASDAQ , currency and commodity Future contracts, Tel-Aviv – New York arbitrage gaps, and of course, monitoring stock behavior throughout the day and timing my position. I would like to test my strategy against historical data, improve strategy according to results, perform test execution in real time, and then , if successful, execute. Is QuantDesk suitable for this kind of task? Do I need programming skills to use it? What initial costs am I looking at? I Would appreciate some tips and pointers to get me started… Thanks!
