I was pleased to see the DataManager class and the .Add() method. It would be much more useful if there was also a .Delete() method. At a absolute minimum, please add a Delete() method to delete a bar/trade/quote from history.

Some additional API calls for data management would also be appreciated. Otherwise I'll be stuck doing lots of manual data management. Futures and options instruments will need to be added frequently and it would be nice to have the ability automate that.

In my opinion, a minimal useful set of DataManager methods would be:
AddInstrument(), DeleteInstrument()
AddSeries(), DeleteSeries()
Add(bar/trade/quote), Delete(bar/trade/quote)

Anton,

Will you consider adding some features I requested to OpenQuant's DataManager, Trade, and Quote series within the next 2 months? I'd like to know your position on this so I can focus my own efforts appropriately.

1) DataManager.Delete() method. See my previous post:

2) Trade.SerialNumber and Quote.SerialNumber properties
